Hey Mama!
Motherhood can bring many joys, but it can also come with its own set of stresses. Moms in the summertime with kids can often feel overwhelmed and anxious. It’s time to bring back the summer fun! The idea of managing all the activities and keeping up with the demands of their children can seem daunting. But it doesn’t have to be.
Summer is supposed to be fun and enjoyable but oftentimes it’s a lot more difficult. Us moms have to try to keep our kids occupied and entertained, so we schedule all these events and play dates and then we have all the other events that happen like the 4th of July, or somebody’s birthday party. It can get REALLY difficult, stressful and not so enjoyable for us moms.
But don’t despair! With a little bit of planning ahead, asking for help, and setting reasonable expectations, you can make the most out of your summer and actually enjoy it with your children. In this blog post, we’ll explore some practical tips on how to ease the stress as a mom in the summertime.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it – that’s what friends are for.
Summer Fun Comes When You Ask For Help
As moms, we can easily become overwhelmed with all the responsibilities of mom life. That’s why it’s important to remember that asking for help is a crucial part of reducing stress for moms. It may seem simple, but oftentimes we forget that we can’t do it all alone.
It sounds pretty simple but oftentimes us moms can forget that we need to ask for help, which leads to mom guilt. If your spouse is available, don’t hesitate to ask them for help with the kids or packing for an outing. Remember to be vocal and straightforward about what you need. And if your spouse isn’t available, reach out to friends or family who will be attending the event with you.
Just make sure to ask in advance so they can be prepared to help. It takes a village to raise a child, so don’t hesitate to create your own community of support. By asking for help and building a network of support, you can reduce the stress that comes with mom life and enjoy your summer outings with your children. You deserve to have some summer fun too!

Remember to Plan Ahead!
As a busy mom, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed with the chaos that can come with special events in summer with kids. But, by planning ahead, you can reduce the anxiety and stress that often comes with these outings and finally have your summer fun.
It’s always fun to get together with loved ones. As a mom, it can be REALLY hard. Especially, when you are going somewhere other than your house.
By planning ahead, you can reduce the anxiety and stress that often comes with these outings and finally have your summer fun!
One of the best ways to plan ahead is to make a list of everything you need for the event a couple of days in advance. This includes everything from snacks for your kids to a gift if needed. By doing this, you ensure that you don’t forget anything important, and you can even delegate some of the tasks to your spouse or partner.
Additionally, making a shopping list and a packing list can also help you stay organized and reduce stress. By having everything written down, you can refer to the list if you forget anything, and you can avoid rushing out the door at the last minute.
Another tip is to prep anything that you need for the event in advance. This could be chopping veggies for a dish or packing extra clothes and diapers. This way, you’re not scrambling to do everything the morning of the event when you’re already trying to juggle mom life.
By planning ahead and staying organized, you can reduce stress and chaos in your life as a mom during the summer months. And remember, don’t be afraid to ask for help and delegate tasks to others. It takes a village, after all!
Set Reasonable Expectations and You are Sure to Have Summer Fun!
As a busy mom, it’s easy to become overwhelmed with high expectations for events or outings. But by setting reasonable expectations for yourself, you can reduce stress and have fun with your kids. It’s important to acknowledge that you won’t be able to relax and enjoy every moment, but by planning ahead and asking for help, you can carve out time for yourself. This might mean bringing snacks or toys to keep your kids entertained or enlisting the help of friends or family members. It’s also important to recognize your kids’ limits and needs. If they’re tired or cranky, it’s okay to cut an outing short. By setting reasonable expectations, you can enjoy your time with your family and reduce stress in the process.
We are moms. We have kids. Life is not stress free, but it can be enjoyable.
Invite Others Along!
One of the best ways to ease the stress of Moms in the summertime with kids is to invite others to join in the fun. Special events in summer with kids can be chaotic, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But if you invite another mom or friend to join you, you’ll have a second pair of eyes to help keep an eye on your little ones, two more hands to help you with everything, and another body to help you navigate the crowds.
Plus, having more people around can make events more enjoyable for you and your children! It’s also a great way to catch up with friends and socialize while your kids play. And don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it – that’s what friends are for.
Before you make any plans, check with whoever is hosting the event first to see if it’s okay to bring along someone else. Then, call up a mom, dad, brother, or sister and invite them to join you. The more, the merrier!
When you do these four things, your summer will be the AMAZING summer of fun you have dreamed of! So go make a plan, invite some friends and enjoy!

Love you Mama!
